The Olkiluoto nuclear power plant is located on the west coast of Finland, about 25 kilometers north of the city of Rauma.
Construction of Olkiluoto 3 (Unit III) began in August 2005. A European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) was built. The EPR is the largest type of nuclear power plant built by the French nuclear company Framatomé (2006 to 2018 AREVA). It is the first reactor of this type whose construction began in 2005.
Baumert supplied the majority of the doors and partitioning systems for the Olkiluoto EPR.
