From design to manufacturing, every step is mastered by our teams to the same exacting standards. Our semi-integrated industrial model enables us to retain control over high-value-added activities, guaranteeing robustness, traceability, and risk control.
Qualification and certification
Over 2,000 tests have been conducted over ten years. Our qualification database means most files can be built on proven foundations, not from zero.This translates into a direct programme advantage on time-critical projects.
For each project, a quality assurance plan is established from the design phase onwards, coveringa detailed quality plan, inspection and test plan, manufacturing and assembly procedures, operating and maintenance guide, and end-of-intervention report.
Manufacturing in France — 7,000 m² in Alsace
Machining, cutting, welding, assembly. Our production lines are organised by product range. Doors handled range from 50 kg to over 100 tonnes.Materials are tracked from receipt onwards: Material certificates 2.1 to 3.2 required as standard, workshop validation operation by operation. Our welders are IIW ISO 3834-2 qualified. An integrated ERP system ensures documentary traceability for every manufacturing order.
Nuclear-grade painting
Three independent painting lines for the application of anti-corrosion coatings. Nuclear-grade painting is available to specification and  Baumert is a registered EDF supplier for this service. Decontaminable, anti-corrosion coatings, compatible with reactor buildings.
Installation and commissioning
Baumert supports its clients, in France and internationally, through to the operational commissioning of access systems. Our teams work in the most demanding environments and provide installation supervision, compliance verification of installations, operator training and all operations required for project handover.This on-site presence guarantees that  performances defined at design stage are fully achieved under real operating conditions.
