Preventive and corrective maintenance
Baumert maintains and services its own doors and, going further, replaces doors on critical sites regardless of their origin. This capability is particularly valuable on mixed fleets, a common situation on critical sites where multiple suppliers have operated over time.Our services for Baumert doors include spare parts stock, repair and replacement of locks and operating mechanisms, adjustment of clearances and operating forces, maintenance of sealing and fire resistance performances, and drafting of intervention reports.
Support through evolving standards
Standards and regulatory frameworks evolve. On an operating nuclear site, a revision of INB regulations or an EDF instruction can alter the requirements applicable to doors that have already been installed. Baumert supports operators in gap analysis and in defining the necessary compliance tasks.This mode of intervention is possible because we equally master the applicable regulations and the technical specifics of the doors both for delivered projects and operational infrastructure.
Refurbishment and life extension
Commissioning is not the end of our involvement. Baumert ensures the safety of its solutions through to end of life with preventive and corrective maintenance, support through evolving standards and regulatory frameworks, as well as equipment life extension: Baumert’s refurbishment expertise covers the repair, compliance upgrade and rehabilitation of doors, hatches, and partitions. Life extension is often more cost-effective than replacement, especially when the door has been custom-engineered and its reproduction would require a new test campaign.
Documentary traceability
Every Baumert door is delivered with complete technical documentation including a quality plan, manufacturing and assembly procedures, operating and maintenance guide, and end-of-intervention report. For equipment under maintenance contracts, Baumert establishes and maintains a lifecycle logbook.
