As part of our workshop expansion,
Baumert is looking for a Nuclear Project Manager (M/F) to strengthen its team!
You are responsible for the end-to-end management of one or more large-scale projects. You are in charge of contractual and financial management (quality, costs, and deadlines), and you oversee the progress of design, manufacturing, and on-site work. You ensure compliance with technical requirements and proactively contribute to the overall success of the project. Specifically, your duties include:
• Developing budgets and schedules based on internal procedures and client requirements.
• Preparing and leading technical meetings and project reviews with external project stakeholders.
• Supporting the Engineering department in product definition, executing the validation plan, and leading design review meetings.
• Drafting subcontracting contracts with the support of various departments, ensuring that expected performance is clearly defined in line with client requirements.
• Supervising the manufacturing process.
• Leading the implementation of necessary adaptations, both in design and process, to achieve set objectives.
• Using the provided IT tools for project management and ensuring the accuracy of all relevant data.
• Communicating the project dashboard (QCD) to the department head and the management controller.
• Participating in the costing and technical/commercial implementation of contract amendments following technical or contractual changes within your scope, in collaboration with the costing and sales teams.
• Analyzing non-conformities and managing corrective action plans.
• Directly or indirectly managing the client’s receipt of deliverables and overseeing invoicing.
• Applying all Quality, Environment, and Safety procedures and operating methods in all activities, in compliance with company rules.
Your skills
With a Master’s degree or an Engineering degree, you have over 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the nuclear sector. You have a good level of written English. Comfortable with IT tools, you are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (handling multi-tab files, data processing, pivot tables, statistics).
