Fireproof partitioning of the first EPR
The Flamanville 3 power plant is the “head of production” in EPR technology.

It is also the first construction of a nuclear power plant in France in more than 20 years.

Baumert contributes to this project, which highlights French know-how in the field of EPR with the design, qualification, manufacture, installation and technical assistance on site for doors and fire partitioning.
The solution provided by Baumert
A major industrial project for the French nuclear industry and its international influence, Flamanville Réactor 3 integrates the latest innovations in safety and risk protection.

Baumert succeeded in adapting its design to the technical specificities of the contract and in taking into account the constraints of the construction site.
Supply of special doors:
Various types of doors partition the different buildings and rooms of the plant (VEGA, PHOENIX, TALOS, BIO, etc.), ranging in size from 900x2000 mm to 5000x4000 mm, with the following performance specifications:

Fire resistance: 240 min.

Air permeability: A3

Watertightness: 1.2 m
